Start in with ch 7, read and do problems 1-10 odd and 6. We will finish this chapter in a week, having the quiz next Wed. The 24th.
We will do most of the odds, so if you want to go beyond the first assignment, do those. Focus on THINK, checking conditions. Then TELL, describe scatter plots in terms of direction, form, strength, and unusual features.
important vocabulary: association, correlation, explanatory ( or predictor) and response variables.
Don't forget: MAKE A PICTURE!

I did try to make a picture...it's not my fault that it ended up looking like a diagonal tornado.
(The poor, poor people of Cartesian graph-land.)
